Based on original drawings, this towel includes some of Richmond's most iconic neon signs that're sure to spark some intriguing reminiscence at your next Commonwealth tea party... Emily Delahunty of Morris + Norris creates designs inspired by literature, historic objects, her native state of Virginia, and especially her adopted home of Richmond.
The towel depicts 9 classic Richmond neon signs. While some of these beauties are still visible around Richmond, others have been removed.
The signs include:
TOP: Natural Gas Co. of VA, Bill's Barbecue, Richmond Camera
MIDDLE: Byram's Lobster House, Joy Garden, Buford Shopping Center
BOTTOM: The Triple, Arby's, Westland Shopping Center
The fabric is a 55% linen / 45% cotton blend, and measures approximately 19" x 26".
The Historic Neon of Richmond Tea Towel is produced in collaboration with Spoonflower. Morris + Norris created the fabric design, which is then printed by Spoonflower, and then sewn by Morris + Norris.
Care instructions: Machine wash cold, tumble dry low.
