Monday Morning Press
NATALIE MONDAYOWNER, DESIGNER, PRINTER
I fell in love with paper in the attic of my childhood home in Roanoke, Virginia. From the time I was 4 years old, my Dad and I would escape together once a week for art lessons. We sketched and drew and painted and its in those precious moments that I fell in love with creating and making.
When it came time for my own wedding, my priority was invitations and all things paper. I knew I wanted to design something special. We decided to go the letterpress route and I was hooked from then on. I took several classes at a local art studio and have been eagerly learning the trade over the last 7 years. In 2019 the paper jewelry idea was born one morning in the shower. I was so excited to try recycling my scrap letterpress paper into new works of art. I immediately fell in love with designing fashion at a small scale and the paper earring revolution was born.
